I haven't even been to my blog since July 4th. Shame on me. Anyway, I'm back. Summer so far has been very humid so we have been staying in most of the time. Since Barry retired we have traveled some. Still haven't taken those long trips out west or up the east coast. Maybe soon.
Susie and Frank are at Sandals in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Those rascals. They said no when I asked to go with them. Now is that nice? Anyway, I hope they have a wonderful time. Avery is spending the week with his Auntie Di in Pensacola.

July 4th 2009
We are going to a mini family reunion for the 4th this year at Becky's. We are looking forward to it. We are taking our travel trailers and staying at a campground. Hotels are too expensive.
Big Mama fell and broke her hip a few days ago. She had to have a hip replacement. Today she is really great. They tell me she got through it real good. She is 94 years young. She and Daddy Bill will be at Becky's but probably won't stay too long.

Want to buy some lemonaide?
This weekend we pooled all our "stuff" we no longer wanted and had a yard sale at Susie's. Even though there had been threats of rain that morning we ployed ahead. Things went pretty good and we were all selling pretty good when I realized I was missing a $20 bill. Barry had given someone change and somehow the $20 was missing. Well, we went on. Then a man said, "Wow you are so lucky, I heard it was suppose to be a downpour." Not one minute latter "plop" I felt something drop on my face. They all ran around covering things. I ran in the house as I was giving Hudson a bottle and didn't want him to get wet. Just as everything was covered it stopped and never rained the rest of the day. We quit around noon and went on the deck to count our cash. That's when Barry remembered he had given that missing $20 to Franks dad as we needed to pay him for something he did for us. But then Ryan couldn't find her bag of money. We searched all over and finally found it in some of the stuff she didn't sell and was taking home. Your asking, "What about the lemonaide?" Avery and Kaden had a lemonaide stand. Mind you Avery is 3, Kaden is 4. Avery put all the money they made in his pocket at closing time and could not grasp the idea that they were in business together and must split the profits. Finally but reluctantly he gave Kaden half. Then comes time for all the bargaining of each others things we hadn't sold. I took a paint roller Ryan had that was marked $3. Ryan took a container I had for 25 cents. Then Ryan took something I had that was $3, and something her mother had. Susie took something Ryan had. And the rest went to "Ruff" a place where poor little doggies are taken when no one wants them anymore. But here, finally is the jest of my story. I had this little fury mouse for my computer mouse that I had for sale for maybe a quarter. Avery liked it and wanted to buy it. I told him he could have it but he kept saying, "I got money." I told him " Honey, you can have it." He said again, "I got money." So I thought okay lets do it. I told him he could buy it. He proudly pulled a penny out of his pocket and handed it to me. I said, "Thank you and come back to see us." He said, "Your welcome." He had this look on his face so serious. He had just made a purchase just like all the people that came to our yard sale. He was a customer.

Our Last Cruise
We had a wonderful time on our last cruise. There were 19 of us. Our side of the family included
Barry & me, Susie, her husband Frank, Karly, Haili & Avery, Ryan, her husband Joey, Kaden, & Hudson. Franks side of the family, Erin, his mom, Frank Sr., his dad, his sister Robyn, her husband Shawn, kids Josh and daughter, Franks sister Rose, and Franks nephew, Alex. Alex is 14 years old and is over 6ft. tall. He was the winner when it comes to having the best time. He can't wait for the next cruise. The last thing he said to me was "I'm in for next time."
